“There wasn’t an open world game about my city yet, so I made one.”
Overview
Naon City is Pordenone turned into an open world game. The real city, street by street: Corso Vittorio Emanuele with its porticoes, the Duomo and its bell tower, the squares, the alleys that cut under the buildings. You walk, drive a little green city car or ride a Vespa, and explore it the way you never could in real life.
It’s free and runs in the browser: no download, no account. Keyboard and mouse on a computer, joystick and buttons on a phone.
What you can do
- Drive around: hop into a car or onto a Vespa and cruise the city center.
- Missions: ambulance runs, chases, pizza delivery by Vespa, taxi rides and more.
- 27 hidden stars scattered across the city for whoever likes to explore every corner.
- 11 landmarks to discover: follow the light to reach them.
- Leaderboard: pick your name in town and climb the points ranking.
Why
Pordenone will be the Italian Capital of Culture in 2027. Naon City is my unofficial, playful way to get there: a love letter to the city that lets locals recognize their streets and lets everyone else discover them.
