Overview
DataCanvas is a web application that helps users get data from various sources and visualize it. Instead of writing code to fetch and process data, you can describe what you want in plain English, and the application will:
- Convert your request into the necessary API calls
- Fetch the data from the specified source
- Create a visualization of the results
- Add a brief explanation of what the data shows
- Handle private APIs by requesting API keys when needed
The main goal is to simplify the process of getting and visualizing data, especially for those who aren’t comfortable with programming or API integration. The application can work with both public and private APIs - when it detects that a private API is needed, it will simply ask the user for their API key to access the data.
