Overview
Ammesso.it is an e-learning project recognized as the most downloaded app for university test preparation in Italy in 2020 (70000 users), created by my close friend and ex CTO Marco Santonocito.
I contributed to this project, particularly in the second phase, providing maintenance and implementing new features for the Flutter based application, which underpinned both the IOS and Android versions.
This cooperative effort was undertaken with Testbusters Srl, the enterprise that acquired the project.
One of Ammesso.it’s captivating features is its gaming approach: it enables users to compete with themselves in simulated quiz mixes related to university courses or ready-to-take ministerial simulations. Users collect points and statistics based on the number of quizzes they answer correctly.
My involvement in this project spanned from 2021 to 2023.

Tech Stack
In terms of technology, an array of state-of-the-art tools was utilized for this project.
The framework of the application was Flutter, bolstered by the flexibility of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
My role involved creating new features in Flutter and building the data-layer migration from the previous application owner to Testbusters SRL via GraphQL.
Furthermore, MongoDB Functions factored significantly into the overall tech stack, contributing an additional functionality layer to the application.
